Pulse Jet Bag House / Filtration System:
Filtration/ De-dusting take place in an equipment called Bag House/Bag Filter , The Most common type of Filter Is Pulse Jet Filter.
The pulse Jet filter is a continuous automatic (optional) suction or pressure type collector capable of filtering dust-laden air through a felted non-woven filter media.
The dirty air/ contaminated gas enter the filter through the module inlet nozzle. A special designed baffle plate distributes the air/gas uniformly the housing and drops out heavy particulates into the hopper(s). The dust-laden air/gas then passes travel through a number of filter bags, which retain the dust particulates on the external surface while allowing the clean air/gas to pass through the module outlet nozzle.
As this filtering process starts, the collected dust begins to form a dust cake, which eventually diminishes the porosity of the filter bags. To maintain good health, suction and porosity, a pulse of compressed air is blowed on the bags. This reduction in porosity is measured by a U tube manometer or low pressure DP Transmitter.
